GLUMICI SE VRATILA OPAKA BOLEST: 'Snimiću video da se oprostim od porodice'

Zvezda serija ’Beverli Hils’ i ’Čari’, Šenon Doerti, potvrdila je da joj se rak ponovo vratio, ali da više ne želi putem društvenih mreža da nameće svoju bolest.

Njoj je rak dojke dijagnostifikovan 2015. godine. Tada se uspešno oporavila i izlečila, ali bolest se nažalost prošle godine vratila i sada je u četvrtom stadijumu.

In the majority of cases, initial treatment is effective, curing the patient. But in many other cases, the breast cancer returns. In 2019 Doherty's cancer resurfaced as metastatic (also known as Stage IV). Where some might see a death sentence, Doherty sees an opportunity: "I try to treasure all the small moments that most people don’t really see or take for granted," she says. "It’s like anybody with Stage IV faces this thing where others want to put you out to pasture. I’m not ready for pasture. Glumica kaže da će kada bude osetila da je vreme, snimiti video putem kog će se oprostiti od dragih osoba i porodice.

Pored toga, ističe da će napisati i pisma voljenim osobama, ali da se nada da će živeti bar još 10-15 godina.

-Kad budem osećala da je vreme da to učinim, znam da je kraj. To je za onda kad se odjavljuješ, ali ja se još ne odjavljujem. Osećam se kao zdrava osoba. Teško je napisati oproštajno pismo kad osećaš da ćeš živeti još 10- 15 godina- poručila je glumica.

-Želim i pokušavam da razmišljam pozitivno. Ovo je neobično vreme za mene, ne stojim čvrsto na svojim nogama. Borim se- rekla je te dodala da želi da bude otvorena i iskrena u vezi s bolešću, a takav pristup želi i od drugih.

Iako je saznala da joj se rak vratio, Šenon je prihvatila da se vrati i ponovo učestvuje u projektu i okupljanju nekadašnje prve postave serije ‘Beverli Hils’.
